Baltimore vs Ferguson Part 1

There’s a disturbing trend that’s happening across our nation. People especially young people are in the streets rioting, looting, destroying property and fighting with the police. It’s very disappointing and disturbing. What in the world is going on?

There are some common themes with Baltimore and Ferguson. I will go into more details on a later post. The fact of the matter is that something is very wrong. This matter needs be addressed. Otherwise, it’s going to continue and it’s going to elevate. We can’t continue to ignore this issue and keep our heads buried in the sand.

Now that I stated the simple facts, what needs to be done? The answer we seek is from the word of God. This is where we need to start. If we don’t start here, we aren’t going to be successful in dealing with this problem. The point is that we need to start something right now. This problem isn’t going to just disappear. Here’s the God U Said It Verse Of Today.

In Hosea 4:6 (HIV) It states “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.” The main problem we have is lack of knowledge. Because we have a lack of knowledge, our people are suffering. Police officers got injured and they are suffering along with their families. Businesses are suffering because they either have to close early or altogether.  Children can’t get the education they need because school is closed and they suffered. I can go on and on. The main thing is we lack knowledge. We have the knowledge that this problem has been going on for quite some time. However, we have rejected this knowledge and we are suffering the consequences.  We need to correct this right now and use the knowledge God has given us. Next time we’ll talk more about knowledge.
